About Hosting:
I use and recommend Hostgator for all my hosting needs. It is the only company I have tried (and I have tried plenty) that hasn't given me a headache and responds quickly and fairly to everything I ever need. I run 3 accounts that host over 20 sites with Hostgator and I am happy recommending it to all my family, friends and clients. If you are looking for a cheap yet solid host, IMO Hostgator is the way to go. I do get a comission if you register through the link, but even if you don't like me and don't want me to get a comission, go to Hostgator for your hosting needs and save yourself plenty of cash and headaches.

Many say this antivirus is much better than the leading AV in the market. The least I can say is that AVG performs extremely well and its price (free) is simply unbeatable. If you don’t have an antivirus right now or are not pleased with your current level of protection, you should give this one a try.
Simple, powerful and reliable. There is not much more you can ask of your FTP. I used to switch FTPs a lot until I found this one; now I never have FTP problems. I do like
FTP Voyager’s interface better, but given Filezilla's free nature… what can I say? I got emotionally attached.
Need I say anything? - The best browser out there, period. A well designed efficient interface is only the beginning here; web safety and a truck load of good extensions are the turning point. If you haven’t tried it yet, you are seriously missing out.
The Notepad on steroids. Quickness and simplicity, the Notepad’s two most acclaimed features are the core of this little editor; except Notepad2 goes the extra mile to provide syntax highlighting, brace matching, auto indent, rectangular selection, etc. With this tool around, there is no reason to have the original Notepad on your PC. Programmer’s editor. Although at first look it seems similar to all the other free code editors out there, PsPad is a well oiled machine with many strong features that makes it, in my opinion, the best of them all (and I’ve tried quite a few.) At the very least, a good tool to have around.
It almost felt like a joke finding out about this type of server packs after spending a couple of days working hard to setup my personal web server to test my PHP – MySql scripts. Reactor server comes with Apache, PHP, MySql, SQLite, phpMyAdmin, Nuke, etc, and all in an almost plug and play package. If you don’t have one of these in your PC, you better be asking yourself why. – The only draw back: about 38 MBs in size.
NOTE: This is ver1.2 that supports PHP 4. For the latest version visit their homepage.
